RMIT Student Life is focused on enhancing the student experience by delivering experiences, events, programs, and activations for students outside of the lecture theatre.

From July 2018 to September 2018, I worked as the Trips Officer managing the RMIT Trips program that offers students subsidised trips and tours organised by the university to explore Melbourne and Victoria. In this role, I managed all aspects of this student program from marketing and communications (Facebook, Instagram), budget and expenditure tracking, trip leader recruitment and training, development and coordination of all trips, and servicing university departments on tailored trips for student cohorts.

From September 2018 to November 2019, I moved into the role of Events & Communications Officer in the broader RMIT Student Life team. In this role, I led, advised and created marketing and communication strategies for programs and events conducted by RMIT Student Life, created content (photos, copy, videos, design), and planned, delivered and evaluated student experiences and events.

During my time there, I revamped the entire Campus Store online presence, increased orientation week registrations by 36% by incorporating targeted communication to students, and established a stronger presence for RMIT Student Life initiatives across the university.

Below are some examples of my work during this time and what I created.
