RMIT University: Diwali Night

Diwali was an event in collaboration with the RMIT Indian Club and RMIT University Student Union to celebrate the Indian Diwali Festival at RMIT University. The purpose of the event was to share a cultural experience with a variety of students, and a celebration for Indian students who were feeling homesick being in Australia during Diwali.

The event included a vegetarian dinner, dance performances, a comedian, a photo booth, a DJ, and an array of decorations to simulate the Diwali décor. I was the lead coordinator on this event with supervision from my senior manager and delivered almost all aspects of this event with the assistance from the Indian club’s committee.
